I don't know if it is ok but I don't think I would do that.
Sometimes if you put something wrong, it will cause discoloration.
I prefer feminine hygiene wash or special panty liner next to herbs that can keep hold of the intimate area other fresh and get rids of odor.
I can't read aloud I'm an expert at this as I've never actually tried it, but I enjoy to say that contained by my experience the vagina is very sensitive. Lotion, unwashed hand, just in the region of anything can irritate my vagina and the thought of putting deodorant even near it make me cringe.
I would say that no, it is probably not okay unless you own a vagina of steel.
