I stopped Birth Control have a period and presently i am spotting like 5 times contained by one cycle, what is going on?

I stopped Birth Control had a extent and now i am spotting close to 5 times in one cycle, what is going on? I stopped taking the pill on the 16th of May i have a period starting the 18th and finished the 23rd, later i had spotting the 26th, 04 june, 06 june, 12th june & only now 13th. I should go and get my period the 18th but close to what is going on?
