A swollen vaginal gland?
Hey guys. Okay so here's my problem:
I have what feel like a bruise in my outer vaginal lip. If I press on it, it hurts - and I'm pretty sure I've felt this since (but it went away relatively suddenly and quickly). THIS time, however, I couldn't figure out why I would enjoy a bruise there. It of late started feeling this method this morning, and I noticed that in that is what feels close to a tiny bean-shaped ball or a swollen gland inside my outer vaginal lip on one side. You can't see it or consideration it's swollen, but if I press around I can feel it on the inside of my skin.
Do vaginal mouth have glands that can become swollen? If so, for what root?
Are there any other possible cause for what I feel?

Yes, in attendance are two glands called the Bartholin's Glands that are essential the opening to the vagina. They can become clogged and swollen. It can be tender or painless (when it happened to me, it hurt to even sit down or saunter.) You can relieve it by sitting in a sitz bath. Fill a tub around 2-3 inches full of the warmest water you can stand and add on about a cup and a partly of epsom salts. soak for going on for 10-15 minutes twice a day. if this doesn't facilitate, see a doctor
if i be you i would go to the gynecologist as soon as possible cuz that sounds approaching it could be something you don't want

could be a clogged bartholin gland. Try taking a hot hip bath and soaking for a while - may unclog.
Follow up with your gynocologist if that doesn't serve.

My warning is to go see a proffesional if it is bothering you.If you shave- is could be an ingrown fleece.

I dont know what it is but its happen to me before too. It started going on for two years ago and I went to the Dr. to carry tested for everything. All the screens come back verbs and they couldnt tell me anything. My Dr. said it be prob an ingrown hair. I would say-so go to the Dr. because it could be anything from a cyst to herpes. You never know.yes, they can become swollen, sometime it also have to do with body warmth...many times these things become close to a boil...they are painful and can be treated. They stay inside resembling an ingrown pimple but with heat patches over them you can bring it out and they jump away, It is not always cause by having sex approaching some people surmise, this is sometimes called ignorance. You might own a barth cyst or an infected hair follicle. Im a nurse here surrounded by a ob/gyn office. You have need of to get it looked at. At the hugely least, they would drain it if here is any pus.
