My condom broke and my gf took Plan B right after how much of a break of her getting pregnant?

Ok on May 8 my condom broke and everything went within my gf so we started freaking out so two hours later we purchased Plan B, she took it and eleven hours then took the second pill. That next year she said she started spotting a little and on May 10 she told me her flow be heavy and continuous and she feel like shes have her period. Her length started last month on the 13 of that month so she still needed a couple of days. How important is this plan B? Are these the reactions that should be expected from taking plan b? Could she still be pregnant even though shes bleeding close to that? We are usually very scant about things close to this but we are sooo worried. Does anyone know whats going on and why shes bleeding like that? Thank you

She probably isn't pregnant. Plan B is 89% effective if taken inside 2-3 days after the incident ;) If she MISSED her period by more than a week, I would be concerned, but these are hormones. It could motivation her to start a bit early... after the synthetic progest. drops since it isnt something you cart every day close to normal birth control pills.
