Am I underweight?

I'm a girl...I'm 5'7 and weigh 117. Is that a healthy immensity?

Well on the BMI scale, you are an 18.3. If your BMI number is underneath an 18.5, then you are underweight. A on form weight ranges from 18.5-24.9. If you want to gain bulk, eat proper meal and snacks and get a sufficient amount of exercise and dont forget to drink lots of sea! Gaining healthy counterbalance should take time, so don't rush it if you want to get a healthy consignment without hurting your body :)
I'm not suggesting you do this, but I'm 5'6" and I used to be 120lbs but when I started birth control, I gain 30 lbs in 4 months. Boosts of estrogen can also influence shipment gain (if I had specified it would be this dramatic, I would not have taken it)

p.s. to figure your BMI, get your counterbalance (117lbs) multiplied by 703 and divide that by your height within inches (67") squared

(117x703) / (67x67) = 18.3

i think thats mundane isn't it? i'm not so sure about your echelon though...i think you're at lowest supposed to weigh 130...i'm 5'4 and i weigh like 140..(i've be eating alot lately)

Yes, like heaps young girls, you are underweight. This is ailing to your development. If you are trying to stay "thin", you may want to bequeath yourself a little more slack. Make sure that you are consumption enough margarine, protein and calcium to maintain your form, and always lug a daily multivitamin.

Depends on your age, body type/shape and what you chomp through, and what your BMi is.

It also depends on how you feel.

My daughter be 5'7 and 117 at 15. She is an ectomorph body type - naturally lean and on the sunken side. She was VERY sound, according to the DOC and her trainer. Her diet consisted of healthy, nutritious foods, and she be an athlete.

i think your fine but dont trust me. ask your doctor if it is a usual weight for your age and rise.
