Total Abdominal Hysterectomy -med students. Can someone speak about me how its done.?

I'm a nursign sudent. i need t know how it is done, how exaclty it is done. I know that the uterus is removed I requirement to know that an incision is made in teh abdomen etc.-- cut through the ligaments or w/e. Can someone near this sort of knowledge please help out! Its for a project I cannot find it anywhere.

I don't assume you want me to go division by layer, but this can be done vaginally, through the tummy, usually in a horizontal incision, or lately I enjoy leard of an uncomplicated hyst being done laparoscopically. It may be TAH total abdominal hysterectomy next to BSO...bilateral salpingo-oophrectomy...which is the removal of the ovaries and the tubes. In the vaginal hyst. the uterus is brought down inside out and sutured at the top and removed. With this type of hyst you can to bladder or rectal wall repair.
