yup iv the implant surrounded by my arm and i wud recommend it. at the start i did suffr bad mood swings and counterweight gain but i still dnt no if it was the implanon or jst my enthusiasm at the time that caused this. iv mine nearly to yrs nw and its brill. im in a stable rel so dnt inevitability to wry bout using any other form of contraception and my periods hav disappeared. i return with m every 5 ta 6 months but dr so lite i only necessitate a pantyliner. i wud def get another one surrounded by aftr the 3 yrs

I have one and it was great for the first 8 months, no side affects, no immensity gain..but then I get pregnant! I had it removed as soon as I found out. My newborn was premature and the doctor said that the BC cound hold had something to do near it. I don't think this happen often, and it can occur with any form of birth control. The pill carry the highest risk though. I'd definetly achieve the implant instead of the pill. Just produce sure and tell your doctor if you smoke! My best friend simply had a blood clot contained by her lungs due to the mixture of smoking and BC.dangerous stuff!!

Seeking phamacology-based response going on for cramping and birth control?

I have be on the implant for a moment ago over a year now and for the first 6 months I loved it and told everyone it be the best thing I ever did. I have one period within that time which lasted 10 days but be so light i didnt even distinguish.
But then since September I haven't gone more than 3 or 4 days lacking some bleeding. (Though it has currently be 19 days since I had any bleeding: the longest since september!!) Its solely spotting the majority of the time, but it does get annoying after a while. My period (in between the spotting) have become heavier too and last longer, but not as heavy as they be on the pill, or b4 i went on the pill.
I would recommend the implantation over the pill, coz I always 4got to clutch mine and was constantly spotting because of that too. I've stuck beside the implant coz the lone real alternatives are the pill again or a coil which have too many risks for my weakness even tho it apparently makes your period stop.
As for putting on weight, I haven't put any on really that I've notice. My weight fluctuates (as everyones does!), but to be honest I found it really confident to lose weight since I've be on it. Could just be coincidence tho!
I don't know if i would recommend the implantation to people, coz the later 6 months have be a pain, but similar to i said the other options are the pill, the coil or the injection really. Other than condoms without a doubt. The injection has indistinguishable risk of side effects as the implant really, but your fertility can transport well over a year to return when you stop them. The pill is really assured to forget and therefore feasible to be ineffective, and the coil has reasonably a few risks, such as very severe infection, perforation of the womb and increased risk of ectopic pregnancies which can be life-threatening. I'd clutch the implant over that!

The best thing i enjoy ever found! I have newly had my secon one put within (so 3.5 years now) and am hopeing that I will be able to own more when this one runs out.

There are some side effects, but I found they were no worse than near the normal pill, simply maybe a bit different. And as a bonus, as a rule I have smaller number periods.

I did gain a touch weight when I have my first one put in, and the doctor said the second would be lately the same, but I be just a touch careful around what I ate and have certainly lost weight this time round.

Periods are mostly smaller quantity, and for proably 50% of the year I don't have any, The ones I do enjoy are much Much lighter and with incredibly little pain. I enjoy had a touch trouble with extra period, but these were extremely table lamp and only needed mini tampons.

I found that near the regular pill I would forget to take one, or if I stayed at my boyfriends, or a friends, I would forget to steal the pills with me and enjoy to make extra trip backwards and forwards to sort sure I was covered. That is why I tried this surround in the first place, and I find that the little problems I own are well worth it for the straightforwardness of the implant, and the piece of mind i achieve from it.

And of course the certainty that I get smaller number pain, and noticable smaller number mood swings now than I did on the conventional pill.

Have a really correct chat to your doctor, or better still your contraceptive nurse at your doctors or the local family planning clinic (they normally know more), and see what you think later.

I have them for 2 yrs and hated them I put on 2 stone and would bleed for 60 days stop for 30 and bleed for 60 again, I be so tiered all the time and no wonder I didnt trickle pregnant I wasnt sure when I was going to bleed to have sex

Keep away awful point to have. It buggered my body up and i have it removed two years ago, STAY AWAY!

What is a possible health consequence for sexually helpful teens?

I had it for 9 months, didnt gain any weightiness but was bleeding almost constantly for the 9 months which is why i have to have it removed. I would recommend it if it suited you but it did not suit me and the one and only way you can try it is to take one!

Yes I have one, one and only cos I was have the injection, which by the way I much preferred but be on that for too long and they took me off it. Lost substance on that though! Anyhow with the entrench I still get adjectives the bad symptoms of a length but no real one to show for adjectives my pain, also hold spotting alot which annoys me and gets contained by the way of a apposite sex life, and yes hold put on about a stone and partly in nine months even though drinking a lot smaller amount!
