I REALLY want to use a tampon?
Answers: The same thing happen to me! It took me about 8 times to actually go and get one in. Let me relate to you what happened to me, I don`t know that will help. Well, the first time, I tried putting it up my urethra. That's one mistake to avoid... And another is being too tensed up. Just try taking a weighty breath and staying as calm as possible. Spread out your legs a bit and try to find your vagina. If you can't find the exact spot, that's ok, I didn't even know where mine be until the tampon was already in. With the tampon, try inkling around a bit. One of the mistakes I made trying to put a tampon in my first time was putting it contained by at the wrong angle. I did it with the front of the tampon pointed down towards my vagina. I'm not sure what the name of the angle would be or how to describe it hugely well, so I'll just say-so... The string should be hanging down towards the water, if you're sitting on a toilet. Hunching over while trying to find your vagina and see what you're doing might solitary make you more tense. Give a shot at solely feeling around a little near the tampon alone might work, believe it or not the first time I put one in was the first time I didn't look at what I be doing. Give an experimental push every now and then. If you get the impression any sensitivity or slight pain, that's not where your vagina is. When I put a tampon contained by, I didn't even realize that it was going in. If you push and don't discern any resistance or sensitivity, keep pushing it in until you consistency something. If you feel nothing, you might be doing it! I hope I help, good luck!
P.S. If the directions that came beside the box say to do it differently, follow the directions, not my advice!!
P.S.S. If you're using an applicator, a virtuous rule of thumb for not putting it in too far is to stop pushing it in when you're fingers that are holding it arrive at your body..
Im 14 too and started using tampons a few months ago.
I was also scared nearly inserting them etc but im alright now :)
What i did was squat down next to a mirror on the floor in between my legs - then i could see where on earth to insert it.
Its the hole before your bum.
The hole is a diagonal pointing towards your bum so don't try and insert it vertically - it wont go far :)
I use my vanished hand to hold my vaginal flaps open and my right appendage to insert it.
They are much cleaner as well.
I wear a panty liner just surrounded by case my tampon leaks so i dont ruin my underwear.
There should be for a while thing in the box beside diagrams and directions.
xx.
Personally I hated pads too when I be your age but I had friends who had TRIED to use tampons and told me terrifying stories. Plus my mom refused to let me due to TOXIC SHOCK -

I didn't try one till I be 20 & I had been married for a year & 1/2. I have no idea how to use one or what to do. Turns out I used it wrong and left the applicator (outter tube) inside me! I didn't know what I be doing. lol Thankfully at the time chat had started and I was competent to get online. A woman was kindly enough to explain this to me. lol I know it's funny but it wasn't at the time.
I'd suggest talking to your mom in the region of this. I know it is embrassing. My 12yr old has asked me almost them. She a book that tells and shows how to use one, but she finds it gross. I don't blame her. lol I only wear one if needed close to going swimming. I personally find them uncomfortable but it possibly due to the painful bladder disorder I have.
Here's a site that may be conscientious -

Well the opening in your vagina right earlier your anus is the opening your looking for. It is the largest opening within your vagina. The idea is to push it in as far as you can. If you hold it in correctly you won't feel a piece. Just make sure to change them recurrently. I personally never could get used to the conception of something constantly in there but I own friends that won't use anything else. So, it's all a matter of evaluation. However, I suggest you try them and see for yourself. F.Y.I. There are personal wipes that are now sold near pads. Using these regularly can help cut down on the mess next to pads. Good Luck! my cousin taught me how to do it.. if you enjoy someone like that that you're really comfortable with, enjoy them help you. i found it easiest my first time to just squat, spread your chops open with one appendage and with the other hand insert the tampon. follow the directions they distribute you in the box, they're pretty accurate. i recommend playtex slimfits to start using tampons, just result in they're a tad thinner than regular tampons. it will feel weird for you once you start putting it contained by but that's just because you're not used to it. and no, it won't plunge out once you put it in.

Tampons are products used to engage your menstrual flow. They are made of soft cotton pressed together to form a cylinder-like shape. A tampon absorbs your menstrual flow, or blood, before it have a chance to leave the body. Tampons come contained by different sizes - e.g. light and heavy. After you find a position explicitly most comfortable for you, hold the tampon with the fingers that you write with. Hold the middle of the tampon, at the spot where on earth the smaller, inner tube inserts into the larger, outer tube. Make sure the string is visible and pointing away from your body.
2.) With your other hand, unfold the labia (the folds of skin around the vaginal opening) and position the tampon in the vaginal opening.
3.) Gently push the tampon into the crack, aiming for the small of your back. Stop when your fingers touch your body and the applicator, or outer tube, is completely inside the vagina.
4.) Once the applicator or outer tube is inside of you, use your index finger to push the inner tube (the tube where the removal string is visible) through the outer tube. This pushes the tampon into the vagina.
5.) Once the inner tube is adjectives the way in, use your thumb and middle finger to remove the applicator or outer tube. Make sure that the string hang outside of the vaginal opening. Later, when you are ready to remove the tampon, hold the string and helpfully pull it downward until the entire tampon is out.
