I would say, no it will not halt the effectiveness. As long as you remember to rob it *every* day. I own a 2-4 hour variance in when I cart mine. Read the pamphlet that comes with your pills to return with specific instructions.

If you have a cellphone, set the alarm to remind you to transport it. I think your method is fine as long as you other have your pills beside you.

Taking it at the same EXACT time everyday isnt really all that critical. Just as long as you lift it everyday in the morning or everyday at darkness, you will be just fine. I nick mine every morning when i put on my makeup and I'm good to travel!
