Im not trying to offend anyone Im in recent times curious... How do u know if you still have one or not? When your hymen starts to break can it break within 2 different places? I have be horseback riding lately and I was wondering roughly all of that.. Thanks so much within advance

some ppl be born without one which is impeccably normal. it's merely a stretch of skin that will eventually tare when you 1st have sex. it doesn't hurt adjectives that bad, esp when u relax and concentrate on ur sexy partner! ;-)
oh- also the hymen doesn't hold to break due to sex just to permit ya know! horseback riding is a common result in; even a tampon!

It's like a membrane that surrounds the first to the vagina. I'm not sure how you can tell if it is till intact, but a doctor can and an attempt at intercourse MIGHT. I've hear that horseback riding can break or stretch they hymen, but also use of tampons can.

The hymen is located a short time ways in the vagina, and can break in a multitude of ways. Most gymnasts don't even realize it when they break theirs, which usually happen during streaching. It can also be broken by the use of tampons, or other physical excersice. The best way to speak about if you still have one is to ask your gyno.

The hymen is located inside the vagina at the forefront of the cervix. Normally it breaks all at once,and if your wondering if horseback riding can break it I don't think so but I'm not adoctor I am a nurse and I know that save for sex you can break it through trauma to the area. I know a girl that was riding her brothers bike and she fell onto the slab on the bike and it broke hers and caused her to hold bruising on her vaginal area. But she hit it really rock-hard.

this site has pics, and info. and i doubt horseback riding broke it. but it might own irritated it. and if you are a girl, then you will other have a hymen it does not dance away. when people address about it"popping" adjectives that means is that you arent a virgin anymore. its a really stupid proverb. anyways...i hope this helps :)

A hymen is the thin piece of tissue that somewhat blocks the entrance to the vagina. It is named after the Greek god of marriage ceremony and has no set biological function. Although some women are born without a hymen, most hold one, and the hymen varies within size and shape from woman to woman. The hymen usually does not cover the entire vaginal opening, since nearby must be some way for the menstrual fluid, or spell, to leave the body.

The hymen have historically been a nouns of a woman's virginity. The belief that since the hymen blocked the vaginal opening, it should remain intact as long as a woman did not own sexual intercourse was widely propagated, especially surrounded by cultures where a woman's virginity be highly valued.

But it is medical fact that the hymen can be separated for reason quite disparate to sexual intercourse. It can separate when the body is stretched strenuously, as in athletics; it can be separated by inserting a tampon during menstruation or through masturbation; and sometimes it is separated for no apparent point. It can also be "separated" more than once.

A separated hymen is not an indication of having have intercourse, nor can it prove a loss of virginity. In fact, some women must hold their hymen surgically removed before the birth of their first child because it is so flexible or small that it remains intact during intercourse.

If near was no anguish or bleeding during horseback riding and your not sexually active, after it is probably still entact. To be sure - see a gyno.

the hymen is located at the enterance of the vagina and it normally impose some bleeding when broken. However, not many culture would experience the bleeding.
it would break due to vigourous activities during exercise, insertion of tampon and even logically masturbation.

By the way, sign of virginity is not a physical point, it is more of your own conscience... You are a virgin when you haven't had any form of sexual contact, so don't be too worried if you enjoy torn your hymen during horse-riding.
