After a hysterectomy where does the semen run during sex?

Ive not had one nor do I involve one just something I wondered.After you own a hysterectomy and they remove your uterus when you have sex what happen to the semen? Does it just budge in and float around or what? Also does it jump up towards your bowels and if so isnt that a chance for infection? How does that work?

Well after a hysterectomy they don't only just leave the vagina blindly unstop into the pelvis. Everything is sutured closed. So during sex semen will go into the vagina as other, and stay there.
