Is it possible to own an undiagnosed intramural fibroid for years even though there be annual obgyn exams?
Are intramural fibroids easily identified by obgyns? I hold a 7 cm fibroid and I'm wondering why it wasn't diagnosed sooner.

It depends on what happens contained by your annual exams. In England, we only enjoy smear tests every 3 years. The nurse take a swab of your cervix. Its easy ample to miss fibroids in this bag because if your cervix is at an angle at the day of your smear (yes they move around the little beggars!) If it be 7cm a professional should be able to see it or have a feeling it if you had an internal exam annually. But I dont know how briskly they can grow.
