Answers: You most likely have dysmenorrhea. I own it i have been sent to the Er numerous times. they will provide u medicine thru an iv & may do tests to see if here is anything more serious. I am 15 my longest was 10 day shortest be 3 . One solution is birth control

Alrighty. I definitely consistency your pain. Not twice a month :( sometimes every two months, but long painful period.
Here are things that decrease the pain:
regular exercise, but not during the bleeding days
intake less sugar
pain killer, prescription from my doctor
I have heard poly cystic ovaries can be a wreak of menstrual pain. Has this been ruled out contained by your case? Hormonal imbalance is imagined a factor.
My doctor also told me that hormone treatment is often effective to regulate period so that they occur once a month and are less scratchy. This would involve taking a type or birth control pill. The daily pills can also have side effects resembling headaches, but your cramps may be worse.
Don't give up, at hand should be an option that is right for you. Menstruation isn't other a comfortable topic for doctors, perhaps you need to see a bright doctor to solve this problem..
If you're very overweight, that can cause long and stinging periods with spotting between them. If that's not the rationale, then it could just be a hormonal inequality, or there might be a physical reason close to endometriosis. Your doctor should be able to suggest something that will help you. For deeply of women, starting birth control pills can help to regulate periods, take home them lighter, less painful, and more predictable. a friends mother of mine certainly had the same exact problem and she have to have surgery to have something removed.. regretfully she can't have kids anymore tho so if you are young that's pry for a time extreme but BC does start to regulate things..so try that and you need new docs if they don't know what to bring up to date you cuz you aren't alone in that, so find someone who knows what they are doing.

How elderly are you? If you are old enough for your mother to approve, I know its not her conclusion but my mom flipped, go on birth control. It should regulate it. get on BC.
