I would prefer to think that it is not gross, but after an American upbringing, I find armpit down less than appealing.

Hair is pelt. Armpit hair grows intrinsically. As long as the person showers regularly and uses deodorant, next there shouldn't be a hygiene problem.

There are times when I longing that society was a bit more accepting of armpit hackle and leg hair. It's a damned bother to shave and or epilate it.

Unshaven armpits can trap 30% more sweat and germs than shaven, so it's kind of fruitless hygiene, but men don't shave so obviously it doesn't impose any serious health problems. If you use deoderant and don't wear sleeveless tops, afterwards I don't see why anyone would know if your armpits are shaved or not, let alone supervision abou it.

I assume it's bad hygiene because the tresses traps in the sweat and can lead to bacteria which make hairy armpits smell worse than shaven ones. I also give attention to it looks gross because nobody really does that.

Such things are a matter of custom. Here contained by the USA, shaved pits are the custom and I personally would not date a girl who deviated from that custom. I be raised near a certain set of expectations, and they set down my reactions.

Still, when I travel, I do not look down on those next to different customs. This is a biggie for me when I travel, as I do extensively, in Latin America. The ripened customs there do not require a woman to shave her legs, but the custom seem to be changing. Thank virtue! I meet a few women down in attendance. Unfortunately, they often wear jeans. Once they hold my attention, a big question remains. I cannot spawn up my mind about their potential beside me until I know if they are shaving their legs. If they are going all colloquial, I am going away -- no matter how worthy the rest looks and acts.

It is only just a matter of how I be raised. I am not axiom there is anything wrong near different customs, but many such customs identify what I hold been trained to find attractive or unsightly. I cannot run contrary to my expectations and taste.

it depends on the girl some are able to wear mane in their armpits and some are not ... It's a culture piece here in the states. I've be to 32 countries (stationed in 3) and most countries women don't shave their legs or lower than arms. I've found this to be true more around the Mediterranean Sea area near the 'older' equals. Those 35 or so and under shave their legs, beneath arms and pubic area...notice that on the nude beaches on the Med.

It depends on you girl. I think is not gross. Finally, is your body and you want to be thrilled with you, right? So if you want to avoid adjectives the shaving torture, that's your decision. I individually respect girls who don't shave... and I find'em more attractive :P
