You could try putting a small amount of Vaseline on the tampon previously you insert it. also, spread your legs and push it in as far as you can. It may take some practice, but inserted correctly, you honestly don't know it's near. It cannot get lost and you can ALWAYS retrieve it. The vagina is in actual fact a cavity, so it can;t disappear.
