If I take one of my dad's effrontery pills b/f going to have my pap smear done, Will it relax me satisfactory to not care abt the twinge and being mortified so she can give me the pap smear?

A pap smear should not cause torment. The most important entity is to relax and not tighten up your muscles as this will make the procedure more difficult. At the clinic I work at, I hold seen one dose of Valium prescribed to patients who be unable to successfully complete their pap smear due to nerves. A pap smear is not supposed to hurt to the point where on earth you need medication to appease you. it can be a little bit discomfited but you are not supposed to be in profusely of pain. I would suggest chitchat your doctor about it because he/she could own more insight about it plus it could be that the size specula they are using on you is too big. That happen to me and they switched to a smaller one and I now enjoy my pap smears with no problems at adjectives. It is important to relax too.
