Is it doomed to failure to cross your legs?

i have sit with my legs crossed probably starting when i be around seven now i am fourty. i cross them every time i sit down, eventually after a long priod of crossing my top leg get numb. i have hear that crossing your legs can cause capillary problems, back problems, and hip problems, i dont hold any at all, but is this true that it is discouraging? do you cross your legs also? and are you aware it might be bad?

i think if you hold been doing it for that long and similar to it, just preserve doing it. if nothing adverse has happen yet than cross your legs. my legs receive numb but as long as its not numb forever it will come back

I've hear the same entry...and yes, I have also be crossing my legs for a long time..
I am also in my 40's and have started notice that the one leg starts to go numb after with the sole purpose a short period of time sitting next to my legs crossed.
It's a hard dependence to break isn't it? I am working on it everyday, as I am sure you are...so, to answer your question: Yes, I suppose it COULD be bad to cross your legs over a long interval of time (years)...and it could very very well turn into a problem.
