The method is called LEEP (loop electrosurgical excision procedure). As for how successful it is, it is HIGHLY successful contained by treating severe dysplaysia, even more so than cryo or cauterization. Your chances of a full reclamation are very apposite.

Post-cycle cramps?

I enjoy had this procedure and I enjoy had gloomy paps since. It just depends on how bleak it is. If they cant get it adjectives out with the leep they will do another procedure below anesthesia that goes deeper. If that doesnt bring it all, you may want to have a hysterectomy. It adjectives depends on how deep the anomalous cells travel.

Pms question?

Hello, I enjoy cervical dysplasia too. I am 23 years old. I hold had both the LEEP (what you are mentioning) and a cone biopsy. They did both of these to integer out what stage of dysplasia I have. On a extent of 1-10 (1 being nil and 10 being full blown cancer) I am a 3. Chances are at this point they hold seen exceptional cells via your pap smear and want to progress in to steal a better look. I'm assuming you have have a Biopsy... Make sure you ASK her where you stand. I developed these cell within a years time. I walk them because I have HPV. Although my GYNO could hold cut them all out as they are a small nouns in my cervix, instead I am going rear in 6 months to own them re-assesed as the Human body is a wonderful thing and will most feasible defeat the impressive cells on their own.

You will be okay. I promise! The LEEP procedure feel like a sharp pinch, VERY hasty though. You may have a few cramps after you enjoy it done. But you will be fine! It is good that you are have this. Basically they are cutting it adjectives out. Good Luck, be strong. :) xo
