You in fact can stop taking birth control pills but expect a large term or maybe none at adjectives for a month. Please have no sexual relations during this time as your body will be more susceptible to pregnancy. This is the prime reason your doctor does not want you to stop.Just be aware that if you desire to protect your body from being pregnant, birth control pills are still the best style. The whole ruling is up to you anyway.
