Mirena IUD.?

I am switching from the pill to the Mirena IUD. Any advice or comments on how dutiful is the IUD?

Help my girlfriend is bleeding after I fingered her. What is wrong?

The Mirena is great! A doctor reccommended it to me because I was even have trouble remembering to go find my shot when it was time.

The insertion is not fun, I must alert you. However, like everything related to a woman's body, it is different for everyone. My mom just felt it when she get hers decades ago, but my cramps were really strong.

The great thing in the region of Mirena is the lack of side effects. All of the things that you own to worry roughly with other birth control- risk of heart attack, blood clots, stroke, osteoperosis- are eliminate because the hormones are at such a low level. It works to cracked the uterus with low level of hormones becuase it is right there inside of it!

Hope you are as thrilled with it as I am!

A more personal request for information.?

If you don't have problems next to progesterone you should be fine. The doctor probably won't insert it unless you have have children. Your periods may stop a 1-4 indiscriminate.

Ortho Evra patch?

I switched fron b/c to mirena and I have no complaints. It hurt when they put it in (like 30seconds of childbirth) but it be so quick. I have some cramping for a few hours after and was paraniod that it would tip out out or something so I was contantly checking it but it is fine. I switched coz the pill be giving me wicked side effects and I hold been much in good health since.

I havn't had my peroid contained by 37 days, Im not pregant.. what else could it be?

skip the IUD and try NuvaRing
I recently started using it (well okay it's be a year) and it's fantastic. No remembering to have to bring a pill everyday. You put it in and hang on to it in for 3 weeks next remove for one week and reinsert when your period starts (usually inwardly the first 3-5 days of the period cylce - if that make sense, if not trust me it will). As far as I've be able to bring up to date there aren't any cynical side effects.

When do U know that U're pregnant?

My mirena IUD was the best decree I ever made. It hurt when they put it in, but nought unbearable. And I haven't have a period within three years! It's been so nice. I would recommend to adjectives the ladies out there!

Mature nation please.?

This thing is the BEST, blatant BEST toy I've ever bought in my LIFE . I enjoy had a tubal and do not involve it for birth control, but it was suggested by my doctor as a ability of controlling the extremely serious periods I've have all my energy . and let me put in the picture you it WORKS! I'm going on 3 1/2 years with it and it's a miracle. I haven't have a period within all that time (that's typical in roughly speaking 30% of patients), and VERY little cramping if it does it at all. The insertion is a bit trickey if you've never have children, but it's over quickly ... the initial week afterward is a bit self-conscious, but nothing worse than typical period cramps, and the initial psychological impact of have something 'there' go away soon as well. Sometimes you can touch it floating around if you've been expressly active, but it's not bleeding, just kinda weirdo, and afterwards it settles back down. If your doctor say your a viable candidate, step for it! It has not artificial sex at all beside either me or my husband. He say sometimes with the right angle he can get the impression it but it doesn't bother him. But like they'll let somebody know you and I feel obligated as resourcefully, this is NOT a barrier for STD's, but if your involved and you and your partner have be tested, then no-latex sex is adjectives yours! Oh and PMS?!?! A THING OF THE PAST! The one thing I can't transmit you is the effectiveness as far as birth control go, since like i said, it be advised as a system to control my periods as defiant birth control since I've had a tubal. But from what I fathom out, it's as effective save more effective than the pill. But even if it wasn't forceful birth control I'd still have it! LOL basically for what it's done for the severe periods and the PMS. GO FOR IT!
