Ovulation predictor kits (OPK)?

Hi, I am wishing to get something done a little experiment on myself - its completely safe and sound no worries. I am on the combined pill loestrin 30, and was wodering if its still possible to be ovulating whilst on it and taking it properly. It is particular that pregnancies occur whilst on the pill and wondered if my body is still ovulating or not, due to the pill. I be wondering, would me taking the pill have an affect on the OPK, I be set to would the hormones in the pill that get hold of absorbed into my body construct the test valid or invalid? What do you guys guess? Should I perform this little experiment? Any thoughts, contributions and design welcome.

The theory of oral contraceptives is that they prevent ovulation which in turn prevents the uterine pool liner from preparing each month for a possible pregnancy. The probability of conceiving on birth control...when taken exactly as directed is less than 1%.

However, if you longing to run an OPK, have at it. The pill itself will not affect the trial other than proving to you that you aren't ovulating.
