Accidentally took 2 birth control pills at once?
Recently, I have be sick and have be popping pills left and right. At some point this week, I accidentally took two of my birth control pills and I in recent times now notice it. (Yes, I do feel incredibly stupid.)
Has anyone else ever done this and what be the effects? I'm on a monophasic pill (Nordette) and I normally would hold skipped this month's period and the placebo pills and gone straight to the subsequent pack of active pills. I'm wondering if doing this will sort me get my extent anyway if I try to skip it.
Also, should I take a Friday's pill tomorrow, or skip it for a day and purloin Friday's pill on Friday?
Thanks for your answers. I've been not sufficiently expert to get a hold of my doctor to ask him going on for this and I don't want to keep worrying.

whats the difference between a tampon or a napkin?
DO NOT, I repeat. DO NOT skip a pill. What you obligation to do is just step right along with the cycle and you will in a minute be one day stale your regular cycel.. so keep taking the pills, which will hold you skip your period, after at the end of the subsequent pack take the week rotten, you get your interval and then are pay for on track
whatever you do... DO NOT skip a pill as this is the #1 passageway epople get pregant, unless you are not have sex AT ALL for at least 30 days...
Problems beside the patch, need alternative birth control?
Don't skip a sunshine. Keep taking one pill every day untill you finish the pack. If you be planning on skipping the placebo week and trying to avoid a period that should be fine. Although it seem like this may be the first time you've tried it...a handy hint, this usually works best after you own been taking pills for at least possible 3 months prior. But if all go well, you should skip your interval although you may have some breakthrough bleeding(ESPECIALLY if some of those pills you're popping are antibiotics!). The merely side effects of accidentally taking 2 in a row is possible some nausea or an upset stomach---nothing serious. The morning-after pill is truly just a larger dose of the hormones within a birth control pill (actually I think one and the same ones as Nordette) so there's no physical medical concern. Don't freak out, and you can call your doctor if you obligation to but it's really no big deal. What do you women usually do if you are within a business meeting and hold to go to the restroom?
Dont verbs about it. I own done this a few times, I took it before bed and next woke up in the middle of the dark 3/4 asleep convinced I forgot to take it, so took another, one and only to realise my mistake the next daytime. I had no side effects.DO NOT skip a pill. If you do it WILL rationale you to have a time and if sexually active you own a risk of pregnancy. If I were you, I would discard the current pack and start a fresh one, taking the pill from the new pack that you are intended to take today, skipping the placebo pills if you dont craving to have a time of year.
Dont get concerned, you wont capture an unexpected spell, and that small an overdose will not do anything nasty.
Good luck & simply relax.
PS if what I said is confusing or unclear get the impression free to email me and I will try to explain it better...I know how stressful it is to worry over muddled up BC pills!!
