Problems with the patch, need alternative birth control?

I had my infant 4 months ago and am now on the patch, and not react very ably to it. I think the hormones are to giant, and I tend to react strongly to adjectives kinds of tablets. My body simply isnt getting used to it...I constantly feel flu-like or pregnant and I am not throwing up, my extent is out of wack, my insomnia is worse then up to that time, my whole body is 'tingly' and my doctor is a jack @$$ who wont nick the time to talk to me (I am currently switching but no OB/GYN will see me for another 3 months)
I be wondering what other options worked for anyone, especially if you have patch problems? I cant take a pill...I simply dont remember them, and I dont want anything I cant remove from my body if I take action really badly.

Try going to a family circle planning clinic they might be able to furnish you more advise. Other option however are, using a diaphram or loop which you can insert and take out yourself. the other alternative is planning wisely. You can win devises that test what time of the month you should and shouldnt own sex at any pharmacy. Its not the best option but untill you can attain better advice its probebly the best route. my partner is on 'implanon implant' although im not sure how you would take action to it. it is a tiny tube inserted under the skin of your arm, slowly releasing hormones. it can be removed by your doctor if it does effect you. you don't own to remember about taking any tablets any, so its pretty good!

well you might have to to the behind the times condom and foam method for a while till another OBGYN will see you . Give your body some time to get rear legs to normal.conceivably you will need to switch to taking the pill .But merely the new doc can let somebody know you that .

been on the patch since my daughter be born october 2006 and ive become and insomniac and very tempermental im waiting to switch hold to go see my docter when my subsequent period starts hes gonna recommend someting elsee hopefully you should contact ortho evra onlline and tolerate them know they love to get nurture back so they are competent to accomidate there users within is rumor they are trying to improve so they will own dif patches for dif types of family but i could possibly just be rumor but check it out hope this be help ful and hope we can both draw from through this

I insufferable the patch. I went bad the shot onto the patch and bled for 2 months straight. I would recommend the shot! It is wonderful. You're not supposed to get your length at all, but I receive mine every 3 months, when I get a bright shot (which is normal too). You don't hold to remember to do anything and it works. Also, it uses a different kind of hormones than other birth controls. I surmise it doesn't have estrogen (maybe, or doesn't enjoy progesterone, I'm not sure) so it may help near you feeling better too.
