I know you are suppose to get it when you start man sexually active, but information is not immensely specific...what is classed as sexually active today? Besides intercourse (which I havent experienced), there are heaps other sexually active interactions?
Answers:
The NH&MRC recommend that a lady commences beside pap smears after commencement of sexual activity. Simply put, this not individual means intercourse, but also any entertainment. involving another person where on earth transmission of body fluids can go off. As people can get herpes virus and other organisms in fluids, including the mouth, here is always a chance of transmission through alternative sexual events. It should also be remembered that viruses can live surrounded by body fluids outside of the human body for short periods of time - and consequently potentially remain viable to infect.
In short, 'any' activity involving another individual and their body fluids in the nouns of the subject female genitalia could constitute sexual amusement.

When they do a pap theory test, they take a smear of your vaginal fluids. Then a technician looks at this through a microscope. When they see these little squiddly things swimming around, they know that you own been sexually involved.

Actually - you should hold started getting pap smears when you were 20 years dated. The pap test is for checking you for cervical cancer as ably as other problems that may develop. I highly recommend that you progress ahead and choose a Dr. and get one done. You should start getting paps done when you start your cycles. You should have be getting them done for at least 10 years very soon.
Actually, you should have pap test even if you are not sexually active. It checks for nonstandard cells contained by your cervix.
how at 42 have i lost my entire sex drive?
Sexually stirring is any sexual activity, it includes touching and oral sex not in recent times sexual intercourse. There are sexually transmitted infections/diseases that can be spread by contact alone. When you start getting paps done differs from doctor to doctor. All doctors agree that you should start having annual pap test once you are sexually active. Some doctors have a feeling you should begin have them at pubery while others say 18.
Either road, good luck next to the Gardasil (I have received 2 of the 3 injections so far lacking any problem). You should definately beging having annual pap smears in recent times to be safe.
It's time to start having Pap smears anyway at 25. Intercourse increases the risk of cervical cancer in younger ancestors, so sexually active 13-year-olds requirement them, but now you're at the age where on earth the incidence begins to rise somewhat anyway.
By the way, I'm amazed how many individuals don't know what a Pap smear is. It's a sampling of cell from the uterine cervix, not vaginal secretions. It's sort of approaching if you wanted to study dandruff and collected it by scrape a popsicle stick across the scalp, then transferred the dandruff from the popsicle stick to a microscope slide. Indeed, a wooden spatula is used to collect the specimen from across the facade of the cervix, and either a Q-tip or a tiny cylindrical brush is used to indication the os (the mouth of the cervix that the spatula can't reach).
