Has anyone had a good experience with the copper IUD?

I have used the Mirena IUD and have to get it removed because of the side effects. All I enjoy heard going on for the copper coil is that there are horrible cramps and extreme flow. Is in that anyone out there who have actually have a good experience beside it? Thank you

I love mine, BUT I did not own cramps (nothing to speak of, anyway) before getting it. The first few cycles are pretty awful when it comes to cramping, and flow change. I'd say here's one, maybe two, large days, but the rest is pretty light - as unwilling sort of medium throughout. There are closely more experience stories that you can read online.

I've hear good and desperate. I've heard the upside is no counterbalance gain or crazy mood swings but one of my friends has severely hemorrhaged 3 times and when she go to get the coil ripped her cervix! I'd to some extent go on the pill and run to the gym 3 times a week than suffer that!
