I wear heels a lot and often run around in them. Can this cause anything?
I learned how to run surrounded by heels at a young age (teenager) immediately I don't even think twice..If I am behind schedule for something or a bus is coming, what am I supposed to do, act ladylike? no method.I run for it. But someone told me I could get a sore put money on? excuse me? is that true?
I am talking just about stiletto heels.
Answers:
Walking around in big heels all the time cause your achilles tendon to shorten, which can wreak problems. Having pain contained by your leg muscles could affect your back. Also, I hold experienced that high-heeled shoes do not adequately involve shock to the foot. I end up next to shin splints sometimes because of this - because of the pain cause by the shin splints, I then come to an end up walking funny with an awkward gait - thereby cause back niggle. It's sort of indirect, but yes high heels can result in back discomfort. People are not built to wear high-heeled shoes all the time. You should wear them surrounded by moderation.
you can draw from "bunions" (sp?) where surrounded by that part on the side below your toe get bigger.
other than that. i don't see any other problems. conceivably some foot injury because heels are not really that supportive.
