I've get endometriosis and PCOS as well. BCP's don't stop endometriosis from spreading - they freshly help have power over the pain primarily by controlling your hormones. If you decide to run a BCP, stay away from Yaz, the side effects are horrible. It seriously nearly destroyed my relationship and my life. Ask your doctor almost Meclomen. It's a pain tablets (non-habit forming I believe) that actually reduce your flow - less flow technique less anguish. It REALLY helps me. There are still days where on earth I need vicodin or percocet, but not nearly as abundant & not nearly as often.
The singular way to diagnose endometriosis is through a laparoscopy. That may slow down your symptoms for a short time because the doc will cut out or burn off the cell he finds - but the endometriosis will come back next to your next term.mine certainly did. But- at lowest I knew for sure what it be. The only method to 'cure' endometriosis is by getting pregnant, kind of a ensnare 22, huh? It may be bebeficial to take a BCP for a few months, consequently stop and take clomid. Many empire get pregnant right after stopping the pill. I've see some of the best fertility doctors in the world so I've get a ton of knowledge in the region of this. If you want to talk or enjoy any other questions you can e-mail me: [email protected]
Good luck!

What can I do to amend my hypothyroidism at home?

Birth control pills only sort your periods easier and produced smaller amount scarring. If you want to get pregnant, don't start taking the pills, you should maintain trying. The longer you go next to endometriosis, the worse the scarring and less luck of pregnancy. If you have worsening of symptoms, a hysterectomy is sometimes done. So address to your doctor about getting pregnant, not falling your symptoms. You can't do both.

Why do pregnant women seem to other wear their hair surrounded by pigtails?

Birth control pills will not cure the endometriosis, since there is no unadulterated cure for it. There's things that can "help" with the distress, but no cure.

I was put on b/c pills for possible endo and am still getting worse every month. I am planned for a laparoscopy and D&C on the 18th to check for endometriosis and to remove any legions, if need be and to chafe my uterus.

You didn't say your symptoms for your doctor to guess you have it so it's tough to tell if you do or not. The individual way to be sure is to enjoy a laparoscopy done.

After 4 years of infertility or trouble conceiving, something may be seriously wrong. Not to scare you, I'm sorry, but it's better to walk get checked out. Chances are it's probably something well fixed with simple out-patient surgery and fertility meds.

Missed time, 2 weeks late, Can't be pregant, What could be wrong?

I be diagnosed with endometriosis and birth control pills did not work when trying to do paperwork the pain and other symptoms. I would discuss your plans to conceive near your doctor and perhaps look at have a laparoscopy to remove possible adhesions and scare that may have developed on the ovaries, fallopian tubes, and uterus as a result of the endometriososis. This may also assist near conception however your doctor may also prescribe fertility medication depending on the findings from the laparoscopy.

Please ask your doctor for alternative options. If that does not aid, seek another physician feelings. I went to 2 doctors that told me my "feminine troubles" were adjectives "in my head". The 3rd took the time to listen to what I have to say in the region of my symptoms and took the steps to diagnose endometriosis.

Some treatment options work for endo symptoms, but I hold yet to hear of or hold found of a cure. Best of luck to you!
