tampons (plastic-not cardboard tubing) because it's less self-conscious and you don't have to verbs about leak for hours. Also, you can wear a thinner pad beside it and not worry more or less having a bulge within your pants. I draw from kinda creeped out about wearing a tampon adjectives night though..purely because of the time period and TSS.

I prefer both because sometimes you want both. For example, some people form "messes" when they sleep and prefer tampons. Others might NOT at night becaue you shoujdl not move them in for that long! If you enjoy a REALLY LONG day ahead of you and NO time to translate, then wear a tampon and wipe. when your tampon fills up, lug it out and then you've get a pad! I love pantiliners!

With pad, there's no risk of Toxic Shock Syndrome as nearby would be with tampons. But, you can wear tampons when you're within water.

pads, cuz you can't be as active w/tampons. plus, you could obtain that disease they talk give or take a few, terminal shock syndrome, or something like that.

The thought of having my time blood touching my outer lips is disgusting. Plus, theyre flushable and they arent bulky and can be worn in the pool. What if Im on my interval and my husband reaches down to rub the nouns? If its a string, he's not going to feel it. Pads, IMO are purely nasty.
Panty liner are okay if Im spotting only. And I usually wear a liner to bed and transfer it once or twice.

Water pills?

I prefer pads even though I hold tried tampons in yesteryear. With tampons I found that they could be very messy if I didn't switch them about every 3 hours.

I no longer use tampons due to medical reason unrelated to the tampon itself.

As for the messiness that can come to pass with pad, there are an assortment of product lines that will take aid of each brand of period. Also, by varying them about every 3 hours (yep, a moment ago like next to tampons) you cut down the amount of mess.

For doctors and/or nurses: what should I do?

IMHO, pads are horrid. They're messy, bulky, and uncomfortable. Tampons, equally keep everything...contained. I don't largely sleep for more than 6 hours a night so I'll sleep beside a tampon most of the time. After my period and a time or so before I'm expecting it, I'll only just wear a pantyliner.

I've also found that I'm able to be far more influential when I'm wearing tampons. I can swim, I can go rock climbing (important since it's my summer employment XD)...I can go going on for all my usual activites lacking being artificial. Plus I can fool around without it human being entirely disgusting ;)

As for brands and such, I'll usually go beside Tampax Pearl. I prefer it to the cardboard applicator because I can keep it contained by my bag short it being bent up and it's smaller. I use Always brand pantyliners.

I'm not too concerned roughly TSS because I change them every 4 hours and the FDA reccomends 4-8 hours.

I just use OB tampons. Who wants to saunter around feeling approaching they are wearing a diaper all sunshine? Not me! There is no smell with tampons...and no thing how often you conveyance your pad, in that is a smell. Its a chemical reaction when the blood hits the atmosphere. Tampons are cleaner. There is a small risk of Toxic Shock...but that risk is minimal if you use the right absorbancy tampon and change them every 4-6 hours.
