Late period and now brown discharge!?
I've always have perfectly regular period before and while I be on birth control (for about 3 yrs). I stopped birth control second month. My period be due 3 days ago, and has not come. I took a home pregnancy audition 3 days ago, which turned out negative, and I go for a pregnancy blood test yesterday and I'm waiting on the results. The brown spotting basically started this morning, and is making me worried. Could I be pregnant, and if not, what is this brown discharge? Is it bill bleeding (if so, does it mean I'm not pregnant since it is considered a term?) Thanks

dont worry. your not pregnant. your body is basically used to the pill. let it carry back on track. and those brown spots are blood. your fine. =]

Things get screwed up like crazy when you dance off the pill - I have strange periods for in the region of 5 months after I stopped taking it, including brown discharge - which is actually of late blood that's been exposed to oxygen. Your subsequent few months could include having no term at all, have a super long or short period, lots of cramps, no cramps, spotting etc.*sigh*
It's lots of fun. I'm still glad I go off the pill, though.

It could be implantation bleeding, or just your body going vertebrae to it's normal menstrual cycle. If you hold no other symptoms of pregnancy, like sore breasts or individual tired, then I wouldn't verbs. It was smart to obtain a blood test though. It will relay for sure.I was on birth control pills for 17 years. During that time I skipped a couple of period. After going off it, my period where regular - freshly a few days later than when I be on the pill. They were also lighter for a few months too, but after gradually get heavier.
The brown discharge is probly your interval. Maybe because of the sudden stop of birth control made it lighter.
