You are correct in the conception that the pill slows your sex drive. This is because ovulation increases women's sex drive, but on the pill you don't ovulate. Some women aren't really affected by the pill while others completely lose their sex drive. I would say-so it probably wouldn't take too long to start ovulating after stopping the pill. I hear that women capture pregnant pretty quickly after stopping the pill, so ovulation must come inwardly a few months.
