When will i get hold of my length?
i am almost approaching the summer between 8th-9th grade and i still haven't gotten anything.
i had really discouraging, foreign lower abdomen cramps last week, and when i complained to my friends, they said it be my period coming, for sure. but, of course, no extent. is there any way to let somebody know when i may get mine? i'm starting to feel approaching a freak among my friends because they all have theris..except me :(

No one can voice exactly when a girl will get her first menstrual period, but usually girls will get hold of it some time during puberty.Some girls start puberty at age 9 or 10 where others may start as late as age 15 or 16. Each girl go at her own pace. So don't think that it's a doomed to failure thing or that something is wrong if your friends start puberty a little earlier/later than you.
At the birth of puberty, you'll notice that your breasts are developing and you're starting to grow a little down under your arms. Hair also will grow on your genitals (pubic hair). In some girls, the time from the beginning of puberty to getting the first menstrual time of year may take only 6 months, where on earth as for other girls, it may take longer and can take up to 3 years.
Every girl is different, and at hand is a wide range of common development during puberty.
All I can say is that you should be long-suffering, it will happen when your body is ready.

Just because your mom get her period around your age doesn't mean you will. You lately need to wait for your body. You'll know when its coming. You're not unpunctually or anything at all though. Because of all the chemicals within food nowdays, girls seem to be getting their periods sooner. Yours will come but it might nick time. Right now don't think you're a freak. My best friend didn't start her period till she was16. As long as you get your period up to that time you are 16 you're totally normal.
Well its not "fun" to have it and relating by your cramps, if you have them alot throughout the week then yes it is definetly coming, but you can't know exactly when it is. It comes when it comes. I know a girl who didn't find her period till she was a junior.
