the effects of the depo come and go so much. i never had so much as a spot from my first shot for three years, but my sister had weeks of bleeding.i wouldn't recommend it though, it sucks the calcium from your bones, my doctors won't even prescribe it for me. i miss it, but you know, surrounded by the long run i don't want osteoporosis.
dude i was just on it for a year...i thought ohh getting no period is nice finally but then other stuff started happening and I done up gainging weight on it and lots of other women did too and girls told me get sour it because of their problems. I am telling you now discontinue it and try something else close to the ring or seasonale i hear those are good alternatives. There's this thing called an IUD (intra uterus device) it will save you unpregnant for 5 years but won't protect from STD's.
