Which form of birth control.?? Ring or Patch?
After giving it some thought, I construe it is between the nuva ring and or the patch. I can't remember to take pills everyday, I hate needles so I can't nick the shot, I'm afraid of the IUD-just scared something bad might come up and I won't be able to have kids EVER (and never have kids so I don't even think I can have it put within, I heard)
I know some hate the patch (itchy and leaves marks) and some say the nuva ring doesn't other stay in place and thus doesn't work. I do like the opinion of putting it in there and forgetting give or take a few it for 3 weeks. But the patch is easier to replace I'm guessing.
Can anyone tell me how they feel roughly speaking their form of BC?? What have you tried?? Good? Bad??
Answers: I have be on Nuvaring for 3 years. I love the fact that I don't have to verbs about it for 3 weeks. I also love the fact that I can use it to skip a spell here or there. It is the only form of birth control that me and my fiance use so it have been effective. Only side effects I'd right to be heard I've experienced is an increase in discharge causing me to other have to wear pantyliners. And yes it does occasionally slip out of place to where on earth you can feel it. When this happens you purely need to push it up higher. It happen to me quite often within the first few months but now it rarely ever happen. It does not matter where it is inside you, as long as it is surrounded by there it works! And if it is in in that properly, you cannot feel it at all.
As for the patch. I've never tried it but I hold had one friend that loved it and another that hated it. I would hatred to have that band aid residue on me.
And as for Mirena. It depends on the the doctor on whether or not they will administer you Mirena without a kid. They just prefer you to own a kid so that it is bigger and there is a less accidental of it being expelled. I have see lots of stories here of people that have have Mirena without a kid. Both good and unpromising stories just like any other form of BC.
Any other question about Nuvaring, feel free to email me!
Wow. Thats pretty upsetting. Well, i've heard that the patch isnt safe, because it have caused several women to get blood clots and giddy, but you might want to ask your Dr. about that. the ring? Hmm, never thought about it. Im overrall afraid of BC because of the effects, but research is other key. :) good luck and im sorry to hear nearly you losing your baby.
im on the pill and i hate it. i want to be on Mirena. it stays within place for up to 5 years, and you can have it taken out if you want to have kids in the past the 5 years are up. dont get the depo shot. i think the trail might be your best bet though.
I used the patch about 6 yrs ago and like it. I thought it be pretty simple. But for the past 4 yrs I have be using the Mirena and it is the best. My periods are sooo light and never cramps. Insertion be a little uncomfortable, but what the heck. I notably recommend it
i am so sorry for your miscarriage.
i hear Mirena is a good thing to do...but they though do it preferably AFTER you if truth be told have a baby.
and what in the region of the depo shot.JUST SHUT your eyes and you DONT HAVE to worry for like 3 months. it is WONDERFUL. i love, i hold it and.well, enjoy it :-)
