RESPECTFUL ANSWERS ONLY! - Thick whitish discharge from vagina, but I'm on birth control...?

I'm 17 years old, nearly 18, sexually active and I merely started having sex with a unmarked partner two days ago [I broke up with my old boyfriend nearly 3 months ago and haven't had sex in the propose time]. I use the Ortho Evra birth control patch and have for nearly 2 years, and have never have any problems.

Today when going to the toilet a large sort of "blob" of thick whitish sorta-clear discharge come out, the only words I could think of to describe it be "mucus-y". It didn't hurt and it didn't smell strongly, but I've never had discharge in such quantity and never discharge like that.

Looking on the internet I saw that this is the normal discharge when ovulating, but that's impossible as I'm on the patch... or is it? Could I be ovulating? Or worse, pregnant? [as I have sex...] Why is this happening all of a sudden? I've forgotten to put on the patch earlier for say, a day, and this have never happened, why all of a sudden?

Any relief would be appreciated, thank you in advance!

2 weeks post SURGERY hurt SOOOOO much STILL?

It's probably a short time ago as you said, mucus. If you have had sex next to a new partner, your body could be reacting to the protein from your partner.

Girls lone please!?

are you also Itching Vaginally? if so you probably hold a Yeast Infection.. Birth Control Pills will make you more susceptible to one ands so will Anti-biotics..there are over the Counter Creams and stuff to treat Yeast infections, though if you've never have one before, you should go to a Doctor first to be sure that's what it is.But it sounds approaching a probability to me...

I simply started my extent first time?

Thats why they say to use any sort of birth control if you miss a day of birthcontrol. ((condoms, no sex, picture, cream..ect.))
It MAKES you fertile. It MAKES you ovulate when you miss. Thats why they say you can become pregnant if you miss a day.

Am I preganant if I didn't hold my time at the dawn of the month?

Sounds similar to a yeast infection to me. Might be ovulation, but doubtful. After the three month dry spell, you may have just gotten a slight yeast infection from the amusement. see doc

Tampons...?

When you bleed during sex for the first time. Is within adequate blood that it might carry on the sheets?
