Annual physical exam?

does the doctor have to look "down there"? (im a 15 year old-fashioned girl)

Answers:    If you want to be healthy, yes, he or she does.

A few things:

1) You are 15. You are going to be an full-grown very soon. You want to remember that it's not "down there." It's your vagina. As soon as you pocket a grown up approach to it, it will be easier to understand why you own to have a pap.

2) Paps are express. I actually a moment ago had my annual physical yesterday. It took my doctor smaller amount than 2 minutes to do everything. There is a small bit of discomfort, and it does make you perceive vulnerable. But I would to some extent that any day than enjoy endometriosis, cancer, etc. It is better to sacrifice a few minutes than to risk disease.

3) If you are feeling humiliated, tell your doctor. He/she will meander you through the process, so you know what to expect.

Just remember: Guys have exams, too. All decent people own these exams, and it isn't so bad.
