After how tons days of taking the birth control pill YAZ does it become successful?

I would never have unprotected sex ever, but suppose something go wrong during sex i.e. a condom breaks. I have be on birth control for ten days, and I know that YAZ tricks the body into believing it is pregnant so that ovulation doesn't take place, but when will I be secure?

Answers:    Your body is "tricked" after a week. As long as you're using a backup method like condoms as very well, I think you can consider yourself secure a week after beginnig the pill. If you were relying on the pill alone, I'd skulk a month.
a complete cycle, so 30 If you read the instruction booklet it will tel you its safe to own sex without a second form of birth control after a week, but my gyno told me to skulk a month, just contained by case... I would save using condoms at least until you finish the first pack.
A month! I am on YAZ as okay and it takes a perfect month for it to be effective but similar to any other pill 3 months for your body to get used to it! I hav have my period adjectives month a little spotting here and near and my period for two weeks..my nurse practioner said that it take 3 months for your body to get used to the shifting and the added hormones...so yeah...one month to be effective and 3 months to stop the breast pain, spotting, long periods, fatigue, and cramping! GOD I CAN'T WAIT FOR MY THIRD MONTH TO BE OVER WITH!
