Has any one here got PCOS? If so do you take Metformin?

The doctor told me i can't own it until i want a tot. Is this true? She wasn't a perfect doc so i estimate she didn't know what she be on roughly. She didn't oblige me and told me theres nought she can do and to put up next to it. I enjoy alot of torment near my PCOS, does anyone else, because the doc said you don't achieve cramp next to it. HELP! Does it hurt more when you munch through absolute food, i do. Do you dream up i could hold something else as capably? Sorry for adjectives the question.

Hi, I own PCOS but am not on Metformin. I hold Dianette, which have really help clear up my skin. Metformin is prescribed if you are insulin resistant, as it is an anti-diabetic drug. My doctor told me that at hand are things that can be done if and when I want to become pregnant (Metformin http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/metformin... is one of them as it can inflict ovulation to resume, the other is Clomiphene citrate http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/clomiphene_... ). As for the niggle, it is possible - one of the theories is that the ovaries can be 1.5 to 3 times their run of the mill size which cause dull pain through pelvic overcrowding.

Hi, I hold PCOS and I achieve closely of strain. My GP told me that an anti-androgen journal of the pill call Dianette help beside associated symptoms eg hirsutism (excess hair) and acne. I own pcos and I haven't have metformin.
It's a diabetic drug and women who own pcos sometimes hold insulin ressistance I don't hold it so wasn't prescribed it.
You should single be prescribed it if your insulin ressistant
The throbbing is probably the cysts that are on your ovaries and as for the food situation this could be IBS
I also used to suffer next to lots of aching but enjoy manage to stop this through ingestion hearty and exercising and solidity loss.

I hold PCOS and tried Dianette which I have a freaky allergic spontaneous effect to and I enjoy also received laser treatment due to facial fuzz cause by PCOS. Weight loss and exercise help but I would dance subsidise to your GP in the region of the backache (see another doctor surrounded by your practice). I manage to catch pregnant after trying for a year but that be 5 years ago and haven't fell pregnant again, though in that is fertility treatment on the NHS for women beside PCOS, Good luck babe !
