Questions to ask when seeing your gynecologist?

My doctor usually does a pelvic exam and a pap smear/vaginal exam and never recommend any other test because I'm "childlike and healthy", as he puts it. I would conjecture a doctor would recommend a forgiving to do adjectives possible test, but he never does blood work, etc. What tests/procedures should I ask for subsequent time I walk contained by for an appointment, which is in a couple of weeks? (I'm 22)

Fertility treatment?

If you hold no menstrual or vaginal problems next within is no apology to ask for extra test, unless they are STD test if you hold have unprotected sex. He's right that you are childlike and fit, and more test can be invasive and expensive, so he won't recommend them unless you certainly enjoy a problem.

Has anyone tried implanon? Did it work in good health for you? My doctors is suggesting it for birthcontrol.?

Normally doing blood experiment and such are the job of a broad practioner, but you could ask your obgyn if she/he could be your primary doctor, and later possibly he will nick your blood pressure, and check your reflex.

Is it everyday for a girl to shift long amounts of time and not hold her time of year?

Are you sexually moving? If so, you should procure regular STD screenings, as okay as keeping up to date near your pap smears. If you're not sexually live, or are within a committed, monogamous relationship next to a partner you enjoy already have tested for STDs, and you own be tested since your later sexual partner, and if you are not experiencing anything unusual near your menstrual cycle or reproductive vigour, no sexual concerns, at hand are no other test he wishes to be "recommending".

All you should own done at an appointment, which is standard, is bring your pelvic exam, discuss your sexual history and recent history of your menstrual cycle, bring a pap smear done, and own a breast exam. There is no blood work that wishes to be done.
