How dangerous is Bacterial Vaginosis in the first trimester?

Hi. I am 9 weeks pregnant and I have some slight spotting on Sunday, so I go surrounded by for an ultrasound on Monday morning. Baby looked great, measure right on target beside a well brought-up heartbeat. I go rear within yesterday for a pelvic exam and discovered I own bacterial vaginosis. I be prescribed Flagyl for this infection, but my doctor told me that it isn't recommended in the first trimester because in attendance haven't be any studies perform on women contained by the first tri taking this medication. He said if it get worse to dance ahead and hold it, but if it isn't bothering me, to continue until 12 weeks. I am tentative that letting this be in motion "untreated" for 3 more weeks will hurt my little one. Me and my husband tried for 7 months for this little one and we love him/her so much already, I would be devastated if something happen. So my put somebody through the mill is... Have you be surrounded by this position? If so, what/when did you thieve the medication? Also, do the risks of getting an infection in my uterus outweight the risks of Flagyl?

I have BV during my first trimester and I didn't steal anything for it. I have BV during my intire pregnancy...I did thieve Diflucan(spelling?) In my second and third trimesters. My little one be born premature, but simply because I have Preeclampsia...Other after him one small and born at 30 weeks he have no trouble, I would try to hold sour on the medication he give you if you can. Keep verbs and dry - it will serve alot.
