Vaginal Contaceptive Films...?

Have you ever used them? I can't be on any hormonal birth control and someone suggested those to me. The box said that 'neither you nor your partner will notice it'... bull crap! I put one contained by one night roughly speaking 20 minutes before we started going at it, and inside a few minutes, he said his mouth was numb and his penis be numb. Of course, we figured it be the films since this had never happen before. Did this ever come to pass to anyone else?

Ick, I hate those things! It feel like I be sticking a glob of glue up nearby! It would get adjectives sticky and made sex just unacceptable. And according to my mother they don't work that well. I recommend only using good ancient fashioned condoms.
