Is it desperate to cross your legs?

i have sit with my legs crossed probably starting when i be around seven now i am fourty. i cross them every time i sit down, eventually after a long priod of crossing my top leg get numb. i have hear that crossing your legs can cause capillary problems, back problems, and hip problems, i dont own any at all, but is this true that it is bleak? do you cross your legs also? and are you aware it might be bad?

I use to cross my leg everytime I sit down and once someone told me that I havent done it since. I don't want to take the kismet of injuring myself later on within life.

crossing your legs (from what i've heard) is frightening for your back (it almost make it have scoliosis)...sitting up is only just easier...my teacher surrounded by the 9th grade told us how appalling it was and i once in a while sit like it anymore

It is ok to cross your legs at the ankles. Your hips should be parallel to your shoulders when you are sitting, to hang on to your spine straight, which is not the case if you cross your legs at the knees.
