What could be causing this affliction?

Lately I have be getting sharp pains in my upper chest. I was lately to the doctor and everything checked out ok. These pains are piercing sharp and last for roughly speaking 30 seconds; at which point I can only just breathe or even move. What could be causing this? Someone suggested an swelling but that didn't seem right to me?

I have something similar to this happen to me and it seem like a stroke or a heart attack and turn out it be acid reflux.
