Is this my first length? Why is it brown?

My birthday was a couple days ago and I'm 15 immediately and I've had discharge for nearly a year and a half so I've be wearing pantiliners. But now suddenly today I go into the bathroom and noticed that my pantiliner have brown in it!! So I lately changed it and decided to check subsequently. Now it's later, and I a short time ago checked again and there's some more brown within it!! Is this normal/is this my period?
