I had my son april 2007 and I started regular period shortly after my 6 week check up. Then I didn't get a spell November or December, but did get one January and it be normal, and so far this month hold not gotten AF. So I went to the doctors they took blood and said my thyroid level were somewhat low and I could either be in motion to my family doctor for treatment or progress back to my OB doctor for treatment. My sound out is my husband and I have be TTC #2 and from what I understand have a low thyroid level could be the justification I haven't been competent to concieve yet. However, I required to know how long after starting treatment my cycles would regulate out so I could concieve. And also if any other of you have have a similiar problem Thank you all for your answers and opinion I appreciate it.

My group, which is thyca have many member that have have babies with supplements of synthroid.so if yours does not bounce pay for on it's own, going on that medication and being monitored during pregnancy (because they own to adjust your dose as you progress) will give you a nice thriving pregnancy. also, it is great you found out, because women who get pregnant and still are low on their amounts can motive health issues for the child. If you really want to make sure you are honest to go, I would ask for a referral to an endocrinologist...hopefully one that specializes within thyroid, not just diabetes. It take 6 weeks to get synthoid fully engrossed into the body, and so I would definitely dawdle and get follow up blood work done to label sure you are at a healthy even before you start trying again.
