Is Ortho Tri-Cyclen a good birth control pill to pinch?

I'm brand new at adjectives of this and my doctor prescibed Ortho Tri-Cyclen to me. I've been reading online going on for it and I'm kind of upset to take the pill. I could really use some warning on this based on Benefits and Side effects. [serious answers please.]

i've be on it for about 7 years and enjoy no complaints. as some previously mentioned tho, pills affect people differently so you won't know how it's going to affect you till you try it. sometimes it can thieve up to 3 months for your body to get used to it and you may experience some side effects such as:
nausea
bleeding between periods
headaches
breast soreness

you shouldn't give somebody a lift it if you smoke esp. for women over 35 it increases the risk of heart problems

ortho helps next to:
acne
ovarian cysts
pms
irregular periods
and some other things that prolly aren't important to u at this age

i loved ortho-tri-cylen! although it really does effect everyone differently so you newly cannot know unless you try. i was on it for 4 years, and i be actually on orthotricyclen"lo" so it have lower dosage of hormones, which worked great for me! unfortunatley the place i get my pills discontinued ortho-tri-cyclen and presently im on some generic pill that is making me MISERABLE! i do reccomend orthotri though, i didnt gain any weightiness, and it does take some time for your body to procure used to it but overall i didnt have any impossible side effects...but like i said, everyones different

I've been on Ortho Tri-Cyclen for roughly 5 years. Don't worry in the order of it.

Moderate Bleeding Between PeriodsPlease Help!?

I am on that one and am happy near it. I think when I first started birth control (8 years ago...) the side effects weren't that desperate - I think I may enjoy had a headache for the first month. Otherwise, it is nice to know that your interval will be the same every month.

FYI... One of my friends who be on the pill had extreme moodiness as a side-effect. If that happen with you, birth control may not be for you. She be crazy on it :o)

Can stress be the cause of a tummy twinge?

I was on it for years, the with the sole purpose bad side effect (for me) be that it made me queasy for about 30 min. after I took it.
Other than that I thought it be great!

My periods enjoy been really really hard to digest ?

I can't speak for anyone else but for me they were ineffective. I took them as prescribed at like peas in a pod time every day and the one and only side effect I got out of it be a 9 year old daughter.
