Gas will acumulate surrounded by the intestine with immobility...Best treatment, draw from up and WALK, WALK,...WALK! It's actually a well-mannered sign though, it means her intestines weren't traumatized by the abdominal surgery, or the anesthesia, and endorsement gas is a good sign! BUT, trapped gas is outstandingly painful!! We other got our post-op patients up and walking A.S.A.P.!!
Also, twinge meds, especially PERCOCET, will further slow down the intestinal motility, and increase the gas,...so, if the pain is tolerable,...permit up on the pain meds, unless it is too uncomfortable to walk lacking them.If this is the case, rob a pain med, BUT, promise yourself as a reward for smaller quantity pain. that you will hike to the kitchen and back!! IT WORKS!

I had a hysterectomy surrounded by 1998 at the age of 27 due to "Dermoid Cysts " on my ovaries. I know the pain of the bloating! The solitary thing that I found to relief me with the bloating be Mylicon drops. They are for babies but they worked GREAT ! They don't taste impossible at all and they produce on the spot results !! Is this normal?

If your mom is taking throbbing medications she could be dealing near constipation and therefore will not know how to pass the gas until she have a bowel movement. I am still in repossession after having a hysterectomy at age 31 and my bowel certainly became impacted from taking misery medications. (Vicadin)...My doctor advise me to take Milk of Magnesia...by taking this your mom should be capable of clear any blockage holding in the gas and she will feel so much better!!
