My period plus the shore equals disater. Help please girls?

Okay So I am leaving for the sand tomorrow for a week with my friend and her home. (my mom won't be there) and i should also get my time of year tomorrow. I already told my friend I would go to the seaside with her. If i backout very soon she'll ask why. If i go and don't swim she'll ask why. What should I do? Anything would be appreciatted!! Thanks!
