you start your interval for the month? i know it probably isnt good but i should be starting my extent right about prom time and i would hold no problem with that but the man at our college who scheduals our prom thinks it is a tradition to enjoy it at our local armary and it is infested w/ cockroaches in the bathroom. im sorry but i am too scared and grossed out to use the restroom within there. i am not wearing a wad so please dont even mention that. i would if it was something excluding prom but i want to be comfortable and not feel close to i am wearing a diaper. so can this do much dammage to wear it for about 2 hours?

No, it won't hurt to wear a tampon to the prom. Sometimes I do the same if I'm pretty sure I'm around to start, and don't want to have an calamity at work. You won't feel it as long as it's inserted properly, even if you aren't have a period.And it won't hurt getting it out! It's unyielding to believe all the folks who are saying it'll be bumpy. If it's dry, just affix a little wet when you're removing it. No big deal!

I did that and it feel horribly uncomfortable-I did it right before gym and couldn't finish the mile-that's close to a 5 min. window of time. Actually it can be irritating to put one in if you're not on your period, since in attendance's nothing to lubricate it going in.However, I've done it earlier myself (back before I get them-- to practice) and although it is slightly uncomfortable, I don't have a sneaking suspicion that it's actually unfavourable, especially if only for a couple of hours. Use one next to the least absorbency merely in covering, and take it out as soon as you can grasp to a non cockroach-infested bathroom. (eww!)

Tampons might not be a polite idea, if you don't take your period while at prom it can be tight to remove the tampon. There are alternatives to tampons such as menstrual cups.One is called Instead. It is a plastic resembling cup (almost like a diaphragm) to be exact inserted inside of you and it catches and holds your flow and can be worn up to 12 hours and later must be thrown away. i think you will be fine if you wear a tampon. Make sure its for a small flow and wear a pantiliner next to it. Just b sure to take it out asap!
