I am getting married and I am getting birth control pills . . .?
i.e. do they gaunt the lining of your uterus, or regulation the ph level or doesn`t matter what.
Answers:
The combined oral contraceptive pill primarily prevents ovulation, no egg=no pregnancy, it also thins the lining of the uterus making implantation smaller number likely and thicken the cervical mucus, making it harder for sperm to get to any egg.
The pill doesn't put to death sperm.
The progesterone-only pill prevents ovulation in in the region of 80% of women, so it doesn't always prevent conception, but it thins the facing of the uterus so that a fertilised egg cannot implant. If you have a sneaking suspicion that that life begin at conception then the mini-pill is not for you.
