Could my birth control be cause this...?

I have be on birth control for ten years--for about days gone by two or three months I have have bad swelling in my calves and foot. This happens almost each day, except for the week that I am on the empty pills. Could the pill be cause this?

It is very possible. I hold been told (whether or not it is true) to not stay on matching type of birth control for a long period of time. You should switch it up so your body does not become used to the pill and variety of reject it. Please get yourself to a doctor.
